New Pediatric Behavioral Health Hospital Reaches Construction Milestone In Webster Groves, Missouri

St. Louis Children’s Hospital and nonprofit KVC Missouri are partnering on the project, which comprises 77 inpatient beds.

St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis and nonprofit child and family services organization KVC Missouri (Webster Groves, Mo.) held a topping off ceremony for a new pediatric behavioral health hospital in Webster Groves, Miss., according to St. Louis Public Radio.

The milestone marked placement of the final vertical steel support beam for the 77-bed hospital. Most of the inpatient beds will be for short-stay patients, with 12 beds designated for longer-term patients.

The hospital is expected to open in late 2026.
