The new $1.4 billion William Beaumont Army Medical Center opened in El Paso, Texas, according to an article in the El Paso Herald-Post.

The new 1.3 million-square-foot campus, which replaces the William Beaumont Army Medical Center legacy hospital, includes 135 beds, 10 operating rooms (ORs), and 30 specialty clinics.

The former legacy hospital is being reused to house the El Paso Veterans Affairs office.
