According to “Lee’s Summit Journal,” Lee’s Summit Medical Center, located in Lee’s Summit, Mo., is currently working on a $20 million vertical expansion. The 40,000-square-foot floor will house cardiovascular surgery, physical therapy, an orthopedics facility and additional patient rooms. A separate $20 million outpatient building is also in the works.
