Wake Forest Baptist Plans Outpatient Surgery Facility
Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, in collaboration with Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA), has unveiled plans to build a new outpatient surgery facility at Wake Forest Baptist Health – Medical Plaza Clemmons (Clemmons, N.C.).
The single-story, 12,000-square-foot building is expected to cost $8.1 million. An official groundbreaking will be held in early 2017 and the opening date is slated for early 2018.
Wake Forest Baptist Health Outpatient Surgery – Clemmons will offer a variety of surgeries including ear, nose and throat; gynecology; ophthalmology; orthopaedics; podiatry; urology; and general surgery.
The facility will be owned by Wake Forest Baptist and SCA, with Wake Forest Baptist as the majority owner.
