Norman Regional Health System (Norman, Okla.) and OU Health (Oklahoma City, Okla.) partnered to open the OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center at Norman Regional Hospital in Norman, Okla., according to a news release from HGA (Minneapolis, Minn.), which served as the architecture and interior design firm on the project.
The new 50,000-square-foot freestanding cancer center consolidates cancer care services, including surgical, medical oncology, and radiation therapy, under one roof.
The 2-story center houses 24 infusion rooms and 22 exam rooms, imaging suites, and a pharmacy.
The project team includes Manhattan Construction (general contractor; Tulsa, Okla.), SMC Consulting Engineers (civil engineer; Oklahoma City), and Bremner Real Estate (developer; Indianapolis). HGA also provided landscape design as well as structural and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering services.
