Southeastern Louisiana University (Hammond, La.) and North Oaks Health System (Livingston, La.) held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction on the new North Oaks Health System Academic & Athletic Complex in Hammond, according to a news release.
The project includes renovation of the existing 27,890-square-foot, 2-story Dugas Center and construction of a 2-story addition to enhance the sports medicine program at Southeastern Louisiana University.
The new complex will house a state-of-the-art treatment room, classrooms, and an amphitheater for presentations.
