Northern Light Blue Hill Hospital Plans Replacement Facility In Maine

A replacement hospital is being planned for the nearly 100-year-old Northern Light Blue Hill Hospital (Blue Hill, Me.) in Blue Hill, according to an article in The Ellsworth American.

The new hospital will include 10 private patient rooms, a full-service emergency department (ED), laboratory, and imaging. Services offered will include rehabilitation, primary care, and specialty care.

WBRC Architects Engineers (Bangor, Me.) will serve as the project’s designer.

Groundbreaking is expected in spring 2022; the existing hospital will continue to operate during construction.
