Northside Hospital Forsyth Breaks Ground On Patient Tower In Cumming, Georgia

The project comprises a new 6-story tower with 96 patient rooms.

Northside Hospital Forsyth in Cumming, Ga, held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction on a new patient tower, according to a news release.

The project will build a 6-story, 260,000-square-foot tower to house 96 inpatient rooms, as well as renovate 57,000 square feet of existing space. A larger emergency department, new lab and pharmacy, and a parking deck with 500 spaces will be a separate part of the project.

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2028.

The hospital is also building a new 4-story, 120,000-square-foot medical office building (MOB), expected to be completed this fall.
