Northwest Community Hospital is planning a new $175 million cancer and neuroscience center on its campus in Arlington Heights, Ill., according to the Daily Herald.

The plans, filed with the Illinois Health Facilities and Review Board by the hospital’s owner and operator Endeavor Health (Evanston, Ill.), comprise a 3-story, 104-064-square-foot facility that will connect to the main hospital via an enclosed bridge.

The center will primarily offer outpatient care, including infusion, radiation treatments, and surgery, while also serving patients admitted to the main hospital. Additional space will be dedicated to research and trial programs, and the third floor will house shell space for future expansion.

If approved, the project is expected to be completed by late 2029.
