Northwest Memorial Hospital (Chicago) is planning to build a new tower to consolidate cancer care services on its Streeterville campus in downtown Chicago, according to cbsnews.com.

The project, which is going before the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board (Springfield, Ill.) for approval, will house up to 278 medical beds and 36 intensive care unit (ICU) beds. If approved, the tower is anticipated to open by 2031.
