Novant Health (Winston-Salem, N.C.) has received approval from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services to build a new community hospital in Monroe, N.C., according to a news release.
Novant Health Wesley Chapel Medical Center will house 32 inpatient beds, an emergency department (ED), procedure rooms, and imaging, lab, labor and delivery, and surgical departments.
Construction is expected to be completed in 2030.
