Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Set To Open New Inpatient Tower In Columbus

The 1.9-million-square-foot 26-story tower will house 820 private patient rooms,234 ICU beds, and a dedicated maternity floor.

Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (Columbus, Ohio) is set to open in 2026 a new inpatient tower to its campus in Columbus, according to a news release.

The 1.9-million-square-foot 26-story tower will house 820 private patient rooms with 9-foot windows and 234 intensive care unit (ICU) beds.

The building will also include a dedicated maternity floor, a conservatory space with views out to terrace greenery, a sanctuary for reflection and multi-faith worship, and 50 elevators.
