Orlando Health South Lake Hospital To Start Construction On New NICU In Clermont, Florida

Orlando Health (Orlando, Fla.) is set to begin construction on a new neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, Fla., according to a news release.

The project comprises a 7,200-square-foot Level II NICU with 10 beds in the hospital’s Center for Women and Babies.

According to the healthcare provider, the project will deliver the first NICU in Lake County, Fla., expanding local access to specialized neonatal care.

Construction is expected to be completed in 2027.
