Orlando Health, Watson Clinic Partner To Build Lakeland Highlands Hospital In Lakeland, Florida

Construction has started on the 7-story hospital which will house more than 300 inpatient emergency and observation beds, 11 ORs, four cardiac suites, and an ICU.

Orlando Health (Orlando, Fla.) and Watson Clinic (Lakeland Fla.) have partnered to build Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital in Lakeland, according to a news release.

Construction has started on the 7-story hospital, according to ikldnow.com. The hospital will house more than 300 inpatient emergency and observation beds, 11 operating rooms (ORs), four cardiac and interventional suites, a 36-bed intensive care unit (ICU), eight labor and delivery rooms, two special cesarean-section ORs, and more than 25 post-partum rooms.

A 12-bed neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) is also planned.
