Palm Beach Health Network To Replace Good Samaritan Hospital In West Palm Beach, Florida

The new facility will include a cancer center and advanced cardiac care services, as well as a medical office tower.

Palm Beach Health Network (Palm Beach, Fla.) plans to build a replacement for Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla., according to a news release.

Good Samaritan Hospital first opened in 1920. The replacement hospital, estimated to cost between $2 billion and $3 billion, will include a cancer center and advanced cardiac care services, as well as a medical office tower. Inpatient beds are expected to increase from 175 to 225.

The original hospital will be demolished after construction is complete on the replacement facility. Construction is expected to start by mid-2027 and take up to 30 months.
