Palomar Health, Kindred Healthcare Partner On Behavioral Health Hospital

Palomar Health (Escondido, Calif.) and Kindred Healthcare (Louisville, Ky.) are planning to build a behavioral health hospital on Palomar Health’s Escondido medical campus.

The $100 million facility will replace a 22-bed inpatient unit that closed in 2020, according to the website sandigouniontribune.com.

The 90,000-square-foot hospital will include 120 beds and is scheduled to open in 2024
