HMC Architects Hires Principal In Charge For Its Healthcare Practice
HMC Architects recently announced that Scott Reed, AIA, LEED AP, has joined the firm’s healthcare practice as principal in charge in its Los Angeles office.
Previously with Cannon Design and NBBJ, Reed served as principal in charge on projects such as the UC San Diego Jacobs Medical Center in La Jolla, Calif., and Kaiser Permanente Orange County – Anaheim Medical Center in Anaheim, Calif.
Reed joins HMC at a time when the firm is capitalizing on opportunities in the healthcare sector. The firm recently completed construction of Henderson Hospital in Henderson, Nev., the First People’s Hospital in Shunde, China, and is currently designing projects for some of the nation’s largest healthcare providers in northern and southern California, Oregon and Arizona.
