Perkins&Will (Seattle) has appointed Todd Buchanan as managing director of its Seattle studio, according to a news release.
Buchanan succeeds Kay Kornovich, who led the studio for 20 years and will continue to serve on the firm’s board of directors.
With more than 25 years of experience managing projects, Buchanan’s recent healthcare sector work includes Western State Hospital, a 350-bed behavioral health campus in Lakewood, Wash., that’s currently under construction, and the Kaiser Permanente Everett Ambulatory Surgery and Specialty Center expansion in Seattle.
