Phelps Health Medical Clinic And Hospital Tops Out ED Addition In Rolla, Missouri

The project is set to nearly double the current ED footprint to 38,000 square feet with 32 treatment beds.

Phelps Health Medical Clinic and Hospital in Rolla, Mo., has reached a construction milestone on an emergency department (ED) expansion and renovation, according to a news release.

A topping-out ceremony marked the placement of the final structural steel support beam on the facility, which will nearly double the footprint of the existing ED to 38,000 square feet.

The project comprises 32 treatment beds, observation rooms, larger behavioral health spaces, a new on-site imaging department, and 40,000 square feet of shell space.

McCarthy Building Companies (St. Louis) is serving as general contractor.
