Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Newnan, Ga., is opening a $65 million South Tower expansion this month.
The addition comprises two stories, with the infrastructure in place to add up to five floors, and 50 patient beds, bringing the hospital’s total bed count to 217.
The South Tower expansion also includes a 24-bed post-anesthesia care unit, as well as orthopedic, bariatric, and general surgery services, according to The Newnan Times-Herald.
