Prisma Health Breaks Ground On $138M Replacement Behavioral Health Hospital

The 134,621-square-foot hospital in Easley, South Carolina, will include 112 beds

Nonprofit Prisma Health (Easley, S.C.) broke ground on a new $138 million behavioral health hospital, in Easley, according to a Prisma Health press release.

Situated on 46 acres, the 3-story, 134,621-square-foot hospital will house 112 beds and a wellness center. Construction is expected to take approximately two years.

The new facility will replace Prisma’s 65-bed Marshall I. Pickens Hospital, which was built in 1969.
