Regional One Health (Memphis, Tenn.) has selected the design-build project team for a replacement hospital and medical campus in Memphis, according to a news release.
The new $1 billion medical campus will house a bed tower, trauma and burn unit, women and infants care center, expanded emergency department, post-acute services, oncology, and modernized ancillary service suites.
The design of the facility will be led by HDR (Omaha, Neb.), partnering with local firms Self + Tucker Architects (Memphis), brg3s Architects (Memphis), Meticulous Design + Architecture (Memphis), and Cornerstone Engineering (Maryville, Tenn.).
Building the new facility will be a joint venture of Turner Construction (Memphis), Flintco Construction (Cordova, Tenn.), Nickson General Contractors (Memphis), and Fifer & Associates (Memphis).
Magnusson Klemencic Associates (Seattle, Wash.) is the structural engineer on the project, and Salas O’Brien (Irvine, Calif.) will partner with Innovative Engineering Services (Memphis) to provide MEP and fire protection engineering services.
