Northern Nevada Business (NNB) confirms that a private groundbreaking ceremony for the region’s newest full-service hospital is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 18. The new Northern Nevada Medical Center campus in Reno, Nev., will be called the Northern Nevada Sierra Medical Center. NNB staff writers report that the Sierra Medical Center will likely open within three years of groundbreaking, and is “expected to alleviate some healthcare access concerns amid Northern Nevada’s continuing population growth. All beds at the facility will be private.”
