Riverside Health (Newport News, Va.) has opened Riverside Smithfield Hospital in Smithfield, Va., according to a news release.
The 200,000-square-foot facility houses 50 patient beds, as well as a full-service emergency department (ED), intensive care unit (ICU), advanced surgical suites, diagnostic imaging services, and a medical/surgical unit.
The project started construction in summer 2023.
