Russell County Hospital Set To Begin Site, Foundational Work For Expansion In Russell Springs, Kentucky

The $32 million project will add a new ED, OR, and radiology department, as well as renovations to 7,000 square feet of existing space.

Russell County Hospital in Russell Springs, Ky., expects to begin site and foundational work soon for a $32 million expansion of its campus, according to lakercounty.com.

The project will add 30,000 square feet to the hospital, including an emergency department (ED), operating room (OR), radiology department, and consolidated area for mammography, computed tomography (CT), and women’s services.

Additionally, 7,000 square feet of existing space at the hospital will be renovated.

The project is expected to be completed by mid-2026.
