The 104-bed Saint Francis Hospital South (Tulsa, Okla.) is planning an expansion that will more than double the number of patient beds at the hospital in Tulsa, according to an article in Tulsa World.

The 200,000-square-foot expansion project includes a new patient bed tower that will add 120 beds and expand surgical services to eight operating rooms (ORs). The project will also consolidate pre- and post-anesthesia units, expand inpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation services, and add a linear corridor that will connect a new main lobby, the patient bed tower, emergency department, and parking garage.

The $250 million project is slated to begin this year and be completed  in 2025.
