Sanford Health (Sioux Falls, S.D.) is on track to complete construction in early 2026 on the new Sanford Orthopedic Hospital in Sioux Falls, according to siouxfalls.business.
The 9-story, 161,000-square-foot facility will house 35 pre- and post-operative patient rooms, 12 operating rooms (ORs), including one with an intraoperative MRI attached, and a boutique hotel with 56 guest rooms on the sixth and seventh floor of the building. The fifth floor of the building will house shell space for 19 additional patient rooms.
The project is being constructed on the Sanford USD Medical Center campus and is attached to Sanford Children’s Hospital and accessible through the existing surgical tower.
