SMRT Architects & Engineers (Portland, Maine) has appointed Rebecca Casey as director of health and wellness in its Portland studio, according to a news release.
Casey brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare architecture, with a portfolio spanning projects in acute care, ambulatory care, behavioral health, and specialized environments for aging.
In her new role, she will lead a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and planners to expand the firm’s healthcare practice.
