Spartanburg Regional Health System To Replace Union Medical Center

The $55 million project in South Carolina is expected to begin construction this spring.

Spartanburg Regional Health System (Spartanburg, S.C.) is planning a $55 million replacement hospital for its Union Medical Center, in Union, S.C., according to the website postandcourier.com.

Situated on 48 acres, the 99,600-square-foot facility will include primary, emergency, outpatient, and inpatient care as well as imaging, pharmacy, laboratory, infusion, and mammography services.

The three-story hospital will also have a chapel and healing garden.

Construction is slated to begin in the spring.
