The Legacy Tower at Miami Worldcenter, a 55-story skyscraper housing residential units, a hotel, and medical center, broke ground in Miami, Fla., according to an article in the Next Miami.

The $500 million project will include 310 residential condos sitting atop a 219-room hotel. Ground-floor retail, a pool deck, enclosed rooftop atrium with a restaurant bar and lounge, and cantilevered pool are also planned.

The Legacy Tower will have built-in wellness and pandemic protection features including hospital-grade ventilation systems, air decontamination system, UV robots, and touchless technology.

Royal Palm Companies (Miami) is developing the project.
