The Queen’s Health Systems Plans $500M Hospital Expansion In Hawaii
The Queen’s Health Systems (Honolulu) is expanding the Queen’s Medical Center-West Oahu in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, according to an article in the Honolulu Star Advertiser.
The $500 million, multiphased project will quadruple the size of the hospital over a 15-year period and will include increasing the number of patient beds on campus from 104 to 364 and adding 1 million square feet of building space. Two new hospital towers, an expanded emergency department (ED), and two new physician office buildings are planned as well as a second parking structure.
The project is slated to break ground in 2023 and be completed in 2025.
