Toronto Metropolitan University held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction on new Student Wellbeing Centre in Toronto, Canada, according to a news release from Hariri Pontarini Architects (Toronto), the designer on the project.

The 8-story, hybrid mass-timber tower will consolidate and house medical, health, wellness, and academic support services.

The $42 million project is expected to be completed in 2027.
