University Health Palo Alto Hospital Breaks Ground In Texas

The five-story hospital will include 166 inpatient beds, an ED, NICU, and ORs.

University Health (San Antonio) broke ground on a new hospital adjacent to Texas A&M University, in Palo Alto, Texas.

Situated on 68 acres, the five-story acute care hospital will include 166 inpatient beds, with capacity to expand to 286 beds.

University Health Palo Alto Hospital will also house a 24/7 emergency department (ED), labor and delivery unit, neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), operating rooms (ORs), and radiology and lab services.

An adjoining medical office building (MOB) is also planned.
