The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, held an open house at University Hospital, reports nbc41.com. The 26-story tower is expected to open to patients on Feb. 22, according to the medical center.
Connecting to The James Cancer Hospital, the new campus facility comprises nearly 2 million square feet and houses 820 private patient rooms, including 234 intensive care unit (ICU) beds and a maternity care department on the top three floors.
Specialized services include neurology, neurosurgery, and organ transplants.
