KU Medical Center Health Education Building Now Open

The $82 million building will feature learning spaces and simulation technology.

The University of Kansas (KU) Medical Center has opened a new 170,000-square-foot health education building that will serve as the primary teaching facility for KU School of Medicine, the School of Nursing, and the School of Health Professions.

The $82-million will inlcude flexible learning spaces as well as simulation equipment and facilities that expand the Zamierowski Institute for Experiential Learning

Helix and CO Architects served as the design team on the project. McCownGordon was the project’s general contractor.
