USA Health Children’s And Women’s Hospital Expands Pediatric ED In Mobile, Alabama

The $19 million project features 25 private treatment rooms, an isolation area, and two behavioral health rooms.

Academic health system USA Health Children’s and Women’s Hospital (Mobile, Ala.) opened a newly expanded $19 million pediatric emergency department (ED), according to the website usahealthsystem.com.

The 19,000-square-foot project is more than double the size of the former ED and houses 25 private treatment rooms, two behavioral health rooms, an isolation area, and a private space for pediatric sexual assault patient care.
