Veterans Outpatient Clinic Planned For Delaware

The 29,000-square-foot replacement project will include primary care, mental health, and telehealth treatment rooms and a rehabilitation suite.

The Kent County Community Based Outpatient Clinic for veterans is set to open by the end of 2020 in Dover, Del., according to an article in the Cape Gazette.

The 29,000-square-foot facility will replace a 9,000-square-foot veteran’s medical clinic in Dover and will expand services, including primary care, behavioral health, specialty, and telehealth.

Plans call for 18 primary care exam rooms, 12 mental health rooms, five specialty exam rooms, three women’s health rooms, optometry rooms, an audiology suite, phlebotomy lab, procedure rooms, telehealth rooms, conference/group meeting rooms, a staging area for home-based primary care, and a physical medicine and rehabilitation suite.
