Virtua Health (Marlton, N.J.) plans to renovate and expand Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, N.J., according to nj.com.

The $500 million project will include a new 6-story patient care pavilion with 78 private patient rooms, 40 surgical prep and recovery rooms, 10 ORs, and four cardiac catheterization labs.

The nearly 200,000-square-foot expansion will also feature three electrophysiology labs for heart rhythm treatments, two gastrointestinal endoscopy rooms, a neuro-surgical stroke intervention suite, and a centralized post-anesthesia care unit with 40 private, adaptable patient bays.
