Wellstar Eyes Expansion At Paulding Medical Center In Hiram, Georgia

Wellstar Health System (Marietta, Ga.) is planning a $304 million patient tower at its Paulding Medical Center in Hiram, Ga., according to the website medriva.com.

The health system filed a letter of intent to the Georgia Department of Community Health (Atlanta) to build the eight-story tower.

The project would add 56 beds, increasing the hospital’s capacity by 50 percent.

The tower is expected to open by 2028.
