West Park Healthcare Centre and Infrastructure Ontario have awarded EllisDon Infrastructure Healthcare (EllisDon) a fixed-price contract to design, build, finance, and maintain the $911 million West Park Healthcare Centre Capital Redevelopment Project in Toronto.

The project is being designed and delivered as a public-private partnership (P3) and is expected to be completed in 2023.

Plans include a 730,000-square-foot hospital on an integrated campus of care featuring education and research and anchored by specialized rehabilitation and continuing care services.

The EllisDon team includes: EllisDon Capital (applicant lead and financial advisor); CannonDesign Ltd & Montgomery Sisam Architects (lead architect);  EllisDon Design Build (constructor); EllisDon Facilities Services (facilities management provider); and Modern Niagara Toronto & Ozz Electric Inc. (mechanical and electrical subcontractor).

EllisDon will now mobilize on site and work will begin this fall.
