West Tennessee Healthcare Bolivar Hospital Plans Fall Opening In Tennessee

The rural replacement hospital features an expanded ED, six inpatient beds, imaging, and outpatient services.

West Tennessee Healthcare Bolivar Hospital is set to open this fall in Bolivar, Tenn., according to a news release.

The rural replacement hospital houses six inpatient beds and a 12-bed emergency department (ED), expanding emergency care capacity by 25 percent.

Additional features of the facility include enhanced imaging and diagnostics, double the number of negative-pressure isolation rooms compared to the existing hospital, and outpatient services such as a sleep lab, cardiac rehabilitation, and physical therapy.
