White Plains Hospital (White Plains, N.Y.) has started construction on a $750 million expansion, according to globalconstructionreview.com.

The 10-story, 500,000-square-foot project will house 240 inpatient rooms, 10 operating rooms (ORs), and an emergency department (ED) with expanded ambulance bays and a dedicated driveway.

The first phase of the project, with 144 inpatient beds, is expected to be completed in 2028.
