Wold Architects & Engineers (Minneapolis) has hired Chris Powers as healthcare practice leader in the firm’s Brentwood, Tenn., office, according to a news release.
Powers, who is a member of the Healthcare Design magazine’s Editorial Advisory Board, brings more than 30 years of architectural experience to the role, including leadership roles at Baker Barrios Architects (Nashville, Tenn.), Burns & McDonnell (Oak Ridge, Tenn.), HCA Healthcare (Nashville), and Gresham Smith (Nashville).
In addition to leading healthcare projects, his new role will include business development efforts to expand the firm’s healthcare presence across the region.
