Women’s And Children’s Hospital Reaches Constriction Milestone In North Adelaide, Australia

Women’s and Children’s Hospital in North Adelaide, Australia, has entered the major construction phase for its main building, according to glamadelaide.com.

The project will replace an existing hospital and expand patient capacity by 56 overnight beds, bringing the total to 414, including 20 beds reserved for future expansion.

Additionally, the hospital will house a four-bed intensive care unit (ICU), dedicated sterilization facilities, and a helipad with direct access to critical clinical areas, according to the project website.

The project team includes Billiard Leece Partnership (BLP; Melbourne, Australia), Bates Smart (Melbourne), Grieve Gillett Architects (Adelaide), and Taylor Cullity Lethlean (TCL; Adelaide).
