West Virginia University (WVU) Medicine Thomas Hospitals (South Charleston, W.Va.) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the new Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center in South Charleston, W.Va., according to the Charleston Gazette-Mail.
The 9,000-square-foot facility relocates speech, physical, and occupational therapy services previously offered at WVU Thomas Memorial Hospital in South Charleston. Cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation are also offered.
Pediatric occupational, speech, and physical therapy are offered in dedicated spaces within the new facility. Amenities include two gyms, which are also open to staff.
