Prisma Health Center for Health and Life Sciences at Greenville Technical College, Greenville, South Carolina
The Prisma Health Center for Health & Life Sciences at Greenville Technical College in Greenville, S.C., prepares students for health science careers by bringing multiple programs together under one roof.
Completed in August 2024, the 137,000-square-foot educational facility creates an immersive, technology-rich environment that mirrors real clinical and laboratory settings.
Simulation lab design
Flexible classrooms and advanced simulation labs support varied teaching methods and hands-on learning, while open collaboration areas put learning on display and encourage interaction across disciplines.
The project team, including McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture (Greenville, S.C.), the architect and interior design firm on the project, utilized natural light and warm, durable materials—such as natural wood, painted steel bar grating, and polished concrete—to promote comfort and well-being.
A small on-site obstetrics clinic operated by Prisma Health (Greenville, S.C.) further connects academic learning with real-world experience.
