New textile products for healthcare facilities

Mayer FabricsPavilion is a phthalate-free, bleach-cleanable vinyl upholstery fabric. Pavilion features an organic pattern that is reminiscent of falling sprigs of leaves. Finished with a soil- and stain-resistant topcoat with ink-resistant technology, Pavilion comes in six nature-inspired hues from greens and blues to warm earth tones.

Salina, Concertex

Concertex’s Salina is digitally printed silicone hybrid fabric featuring a watercolor-inspired look. Salina offers an ultra-soft touch, is bleach cleanable, and features a Wyzenbeek rating of 300,000 double rubs. The line is available in eight shades including tan, blue-gray, turquoise, sage green, gold, blue, and green.

Designtex presents Fresco, a coated upholstery fabric with a matte, painterly texture. The line is available in 18 colors, including gray, blue, brown, cherry, and lilac. Fresco is made from 100 percent polyurethane (polycarbonate based) and is available in a 54-inch width.

Privacy Curtain Fabrics from Standard Textile feature a range of soothing designs, including ombres, nature-inspired motifs, and painterly florals. The fabrics contain less than 1,000 parts per million of fire-retardant chemicals as well as no added PFAS, formaldehyde, or other chemicals of concern as outlined by Practice Greenhealth’s Healthy Interiors goal.

Bon Bon chenille upholstery fabric from Burch features a fluffy texture and comes in 10 hues, including yellow, dark and medium blues, greens, light blue-gray, mauve, and rust. The textile line comes with a patented moisture barrier technology and meets specifications for heavy-duty commercial applications.

Fabricut Contract launches three new patterns for its FibreGuard PRO Performance Fabrics. Shown is Automation, a modern, mélange tape yarn with chenille accents available in 10 colors. FibreGuard PRO fabrics are mildew and odor resistant, antimoisture, antimicrobial, and free of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

Inspired by the Mediterranean restful and relaxing lifestyle, Xorel Luxe collection from Carnegie combines high-performance yarn with a plush bouclé yarn. The line is free of polyvinyl chloride and PFAS, Cradle to Cradle Gold-certified, and made from rapidly renewable sugarcane for a reduced carbon footprint.

Ultra-Lush Lambswool upholstery fabric, Supreen

The Ultra-Lush Lambswool upholstery fabric from Supreen features a soft, fuzzy texture. The fabric has a liquid barrier, is stain resistant and bleach cleanable, and includes a recycled and biodegradable thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) backing. The line is available in a palette of nine neutral colors including ivory, tan, brown, black, and midnight blue.

Luum TextilesCognition indoor/outdoor upholstery textile, part of the manufacturer’s Evolutionary Forces collection, features a multicolor bouclé. Cognition is bleach cleanable and comes in nine colorways, including warm neutrals, greens and blues, charcoals, and bright pink. The line is composed of 61 percent polypropylene and 39 percent acrylic and features a Wyzenbeek rating of 30,000 double rubs.

Cortina Leathers unveils Azzurro, an Italian-made upholstery leather collection featuring a smooth, matte finish. The semi-aniline leather comes in 66 colors and is abrasion- and stain-resistant for high-traffic environments.

The Mitchell Group expands NetZero, a sustainable, water-based coated polymer textile collection, with four new patterns. Arbor mimics a leather-like texture with a subtle, natural grain. Birkin is inspired by a classic crosshatch motif. Burlap features a rustic, weathered look. Lin includes a natural linen look.

Volar Bio by Ultrafabrics features a 66 percent blend of recycled, renewable, and biobased materials such as Repreve polyester, Ecovero viscose, and Susterra propanediol, a petroleum-free ingredient. Each linear yard of the textile contains the equivalent of 8.3 recycled plastic bottles. Volar Bio can be regularly cleaned and disinfected while still retaining its performance and aesthetic appeal.
