Reservations for HCD’s 2026 Design Showcase awards have closed, but there’s still time to include a project in the showcase.*
The prestigious Healthcare Design Showcase awards program is now in its 26th year of honoring the very best design and architecture in the healthcare industry. All projects accepted by our jury will be published in the August 2026 issue of Healthcare Design, with some receiving special recognition.
An elite jury of architects, interior designers, providers, and consultants will evaluate projects. Awards of Merit and Honorable Mentions are given to the highest-scoring projects. Finalists will also be recognized for outstanding achievement. Watch for updates in mid-May with this year’s results.
Awards will be presented at our annual Healthcare Design Conference + Expo (Oct. 17-20, New Orleans) during a special luncheon open to all attendees.

We understand that not all firms believe their projects raise the bar or are award-worthy. Sometimes, dedicating resources to presentation development and assembly is simply not warranted. If you would like to include your project in the showcase issue, but not seek an award, consider submitting your project for publication only.
Materials due May 22. Participants will receive a worksheet with instructions for supplying content and images.
