Novant Health’s CON Approved For New Hospital In Bluffton, South Carolina

The $320 million project will house 50 beds and care in a range of medical specialties, including medical, surgical, emergency and trauma, ICU, labor and delivery, cardiology, neurology, and orthopedics.

Novant Health (Winston-Salem, N.C.) received approval from the South Department of Public Health on its certificate of need (CON) to build a new 50-bed hospital in Bluffton, S.C., according to Bluffton Today.

The $320 million project will house 50 beds and care in a range of medical specialties, including medical, surgical, emergency and trauma, ICU, labor and delivery, cardiology, neurology, and orthopedics.

The hospital will be designed with the capability to expand to 100 beds as the community’s needs grow.
