Vandalia Health Mon Harrison Neighborhood Hospital Begins Construction In Bridgeport, West Virginia

The 2-story, 40,000-square-foot hospital will house a full-service ED with eight treatment rooms, 10 short-stay inpatient rooms, imaging, pharmacy, and lab services.

Mon Health System (Morgantown, W.Va.), part of Vandalia Health Network (Charleston, W.Va.), held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction on the new Vandalia Health Mon Harrison Neighborhood Hospital at Charles Pointe Crossing in Bridgeport, W.Va., according to a news release.

The 2-story, 40,000-square-foot hospital will house a full-service emergency department (ED) with eight treatment rooms, 10 short-stay inpatient rooms, imaging, pharmacy, and lab services.

The second floor will be built as shell space for future growth.

Construction of the new hospital is expected to be completed in 2026.
